2007 Project in Review:

In 2007 walktheirwalk raised $27,215.25 total to help build Siantete Basic School in an area of Zambia, Africa called Twachiyanda.  Money raised by walktheirwalk is helping build two sets of new classroom buildings each having three classrooms, furniture in each classroom, new teacher housing, soccer equipment and playground area.  Construction for Siantete Basic School began in October of 2007.

2008 Project in Review:

In 2008 walktheirwalk raised $33,739.00 to build 2.5 fresh water wells for the community of Twachiyanda in Zambia. The goal was to raised $26,000.00 to build two fresh water wells ($13,000.00 each).  We are thrilled to announce the goal was not just achieved; but it was exceeded with enough money to contribute toward building a third well. walktheirwalk 2008 was held in La Mesa, CA on 9/13/08 and in Bound Brook, NJ on 11/16/08.
